Frequently asked questions
It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.
How long will alterations take?
Alterations typically take 1 week.
Can I do my own fitting and drop off my items right away?
Although we recommend that the seamstress conduct your fitting, you are welcome to do your own. However, this means we will not be liable for any mistakes, e.g. if your garment is too short or too tight.
I need my items urgently, what do I do?
If you need your items sooner, we offer an express service for an additional fee.
How will I know my items are ready?
Alterations typically take one week, and once they are complete, you will receive a text message telling you that they are ready for collection.
What should I do if I cannot collect my items?
As part of our policy, we keep items for up to 3 months before donating them to charity. If you cannot collect your items, let us know, and we can either hand-deliver them or post them to you, subject to an additional fee.
What payment methods do you accept?
We want to keep cash alive, so we currently only accept cash payments. Be aware that we expect full payment for our service before any alteration work can begin.
Do you offer cleaning?
We are conveniently based inside a laundrette, so cleaning your items won't be a problem, subject to an additional fee. Discuss this with your seamstress in the store.
Do I have to try on my garments when I collect them?
Although we do recommend you try on your garments upon collection, that choice is completely up to you!
Do you have a Mail-In Service?
We do not currently offer a mail-in service; however, we hope to offer this in the future.
